Zutaten

1 kg chicken, cut in 10 pieces
6 shallots
3 garlic
5 roasted candlenuts
a slice of galangal
a slice of fresh turmeric
1 TL salt or to taste
2 dl water
10 EL cooking oil for frying

Zubereitung

- Make shallots, garlic, candlenuts, galangal, turmeric and salt into a paste.

- Mix chicken with spice paste and pour in water. Bring to the boil and cook until tender

and water is absorbed.

- Take from flame and fry until golden.
